M-am băgat mai demult într-un print exchange. Astăzi am primit primul print, de la Adam Costello. Tot astăzi Adam a încuviinţat să-i scanez şi să postez poza pe blog.

Camera – Speed Graphic Pacemaker, Ilford Delta 100, settings unrecorded (probably f/5.6), slight front tilt.
Paper – Lana Aquarelle. Precoated with 10% oxalic acid, sensitized with a foam brush using Bostick & Sullivan VDB kit. 1.5ml sensitizer + 1 drop Tween 20.
Exposure – 4.5 min under 6 BLB flourescent bulbs.
Developed in 6 trays of water with a pinch of citric acid (1 min/tray).
Fixed in 20% hypo for 2 minutes.
Washed for 1 hour.

Ăsta e primul print pe care am băgat dodge, cu o bucăţică de plastic rotundă, în special pe fizionomie.
Vorbeam astăzi cu un amic despre CMYK și pe chestia asta mi-am adus aminte că citisem mai demult cum tipărea unu platină peste inkjet. E destul de simplă tehnica, trebuie avut grijă mare doar la suprapunere: deci se ia o poza color, se converteste in cmyk si dupaia in multicanal. CMY se face la loc RGB și se scoate la imprimantă, iar canalul de negru se inversează și se scoate tot la imprimantă, pe folie transparentă. După ce se usucă cerneala se măzgălește printu cu emulsie fotosensibilă și se lasă iar la uscat. Dupe care se pune negativu transparent peste și se dă la copt 3-4 minute la UV.

Eu m-am grăbit nițel, că eram curios dacă stă pigmentul la locul lui însă a suportat eroic si emulsia și plimbăricile prin apă acidă și tiosulfat.
